My name is Barbara I set my sons laptop up for the slingbox and it was working until about two weeks ago, there was no power outage and I can’t think of anything that happened. My son is in Spain and sent me an IM that the slingbox wasn’t working but I was at work, when I got home everything looked ok. I don’t know what to do; he will be in Spain until June. I have rebooted everything the error message he is getting is 0X80072743, any help would be greatly appreciated

I am an IT consultant with the same problem that bnurse described and SlingMedia has been unable to resolve it with me. Mine worked for 2 months, then just quit. No matter what we have tried, updating firmware, new software, router and slingbox reset hasn't worked. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them - one day for 4 hours.
They could have saved themselves and me time and money by just returning the box for them to test internally, but I have been unable to get them to do so.
