Using slingbox I connected a security cam and using the IR remote blaster I’ve created a pan tilt system that can be controlled remotely thru slingplayer’s remote control.

For the system I used:

Pan Tilt mechanism from www.servocity.com.

Two HiTech servo.

BS2 microcontroller  , IR detector and servopal from www.parallax.com.

Designed a circuit to control 2 relay to switch power for the servo and security cam.

I setup slingbox on the composite channel for Sony VCR plus . On the microcontroller , I wrote a program to read and interpret sony IR protocol and translated the inputs into servo movements.

The softwaqre nox can do manual or auto pan and tilt

I bought a pan tilt head made by a company called Vidpro.  It was $80 and comes with a small ir remote.  I have been struggling to make it work via slingbox.  I bought a jp1 remote (the OFA 8910).  I made an interface cable.  I learned the codes and used ir.exe to decode them.  The codes come out as raw data.  That's about as far as I got.  Any help would be appreciated.
