My slingbox was working on my old network then my router broke and I have bought a new one. All the lights are correct on the front of the Slingbox solo but it seems to be (I assume) searching for the old router. I have tried to do a hard reset (holding on to the reset button for 20 secs or so and tried to connect again but no luck. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks Matt

for some reason the post keeps getting cutoff

with your slingbox on, click on
Start - Run - type CMD - Enter - type NETSTAT - ENTER

Sorry should have mentioned I've got a Mac, do you know the command for that system? - thanks for your help so far.

The IP address on your new router is different from the old one. You can change it to the same as the old one or do a factory reset on the Slingbox and rerun setup.

Excuse my continued (though not intentional!) ignorance but how do I do a factory reset, I have tried holding down the reset button for 20 secs and have just unplugged the slingbox for 24hrs and that hasn't worked either. Again, really grateful for help from anyone who has the patience!

I missed that you have tried the reset. The box might have an issue resetting. It's easy enough to change the IP of the router if you know what the old one was. If you don't, tell us what the old router was and someone should know.

Thanks Ryandh! IP address was 192.168.0.1 and it was a netgear router model DG 834. I have replaced it with one that is exactly the same.

Oh, What do you get in the software? No SlingBox found?

Yes No Slingbox found and then a dialogue box that asks me to check that slingbox is on my wireless network. Thanks again for your help.
