Hi,

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to stream my Xbox 360 to the internet through websites such as justin.tv and other sites similar for public viewing. Does the slingbox force me to use its software and how does it recognize the device?

For example, on justin.tv you can capture webcams, tv tuner cards, but I'm wondering if slingbox might also work on it.

I'd appreciate any help people can give me.

Can't really do this. Not without a bunch of hacking and then if you upload speed is not that maybe only 1 person could watch at a time.

The Slingbox is made for watching and controlling your video somewhere else. If a TV tuner will do it just get one of them, they're cheaper too..

Slinging Tivo Series 2, Tivo HD, and TW cable from a Pro. Slinging Tivo HD from a Solo, Slinging Humax DRT800, and TW cable from a Classic to Sprint Mogul, AT&T SX66, N62, 8525, and Dell Inspiron 8600 with Sprint EVDO over Windstream DSL.

No, i'm talking about streaming this to a dedicated web server from my home and then from the dedicated web server it goes out to anyone else. Since the server has high bandwidth, it can redistribute it with ease without lagging me out.

I guess you guys didn't really understand what I was asking.

Yes, that could be done. But as i said not without a lot of hacking. Probably not with Justin.tv, but if you can send to a dedicated web server then it is possible.

check out checksum coder's vlc plug in.  you can use it to re-broadcast the signal to your LAN, I would think you could rebroadcast to the server for other to access?
