hi,

pls help. i am able to use the dvr 625 remote either on the tv or on the slingbox. I need to have individual remote operate on them. Slingbox is on tv2 and normal tv is on tv1. Is there a way out or is this possible only through a new dvr box?

If your DVR 625 is a dual tuner receiver (which I think it is) the receiver came with two remote controls, one used IR signal and the other RF signasl. SO you must be connecting the Slingbox to the output on the DVR 625 that uses the IR not the RF, that way you can control bothe devices separetely.

thnx, viper. yes, its a dual tuner receiver. i am not able to control the slingbox remote which is on tv2. Dish gave me only one remote control. If I can get them to give me another remote control device, then will it work?

Yes, right you are!
Call them and tell them to help you on this, you paid for the receiver you deserve some help, all the Slingbox connections and configuration is just fine, just pay them a call to give you a hand on this.
