I am trying to hookup my Slingbox AV remotely using a DLink DIR 615 Router.

This router is not on the list for tutoial assistance.

The tutoial for the other Dlink does not show the same information as I have with the DIR 615.

Can anyone assist me?

Ckeck this link out, it will tell you how to setup the port forwarding manually:

I have run through the tutorial that was linked to on this page. However, I have a bit of a different problem with my DLink DIR 615. Simply put, the network does not see the Slingbox. The network light is solidly on. The other items on the network extender are seen by the router. I can't even run the setup wizard because it's not seeing the Slingbox. Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.

Serumgard, I continually had issues with the getting the DIR-615 router to link with the Slingbox remotely. I contacted the Slingbox online support and they were able to do all that I need to do by linking with me computer. The Slingbox Online Support are able to bring your computer up on their system and make all the changes remotely. I would suggest that you do the same. They easily helped me with my problem.

Good Luck!!

Hi, has any resolved the issue where the Slingbox cannot be connected to when using a DIR-615? When I replaced my SMC router with the DIR-615 my Slingbox no longer works...

Note: this has nothing to do with external viewing (off my network) only on my network...I haven't even tried portforwarded Singboxing.

Thanks!

I suspect the solution is to reset the slingbox via the reset pin at the back. I will try this and post back.
