Im new to this an haven't  bought my slingbox yet.  I  first  need  to get a mobile broadband connection. I have  a dell inspiorion laptop  and  need to find  a good  carrier and unlimited  plan for my slingbox. Can anyone  recommen some good plans. I really don't  want to have to commit  to any long term contracts.  Are there  any daily session passes out there?  thanks

If you're in the U.S. you might want to check out Sprint's SERO plan.

oops sorry, I missed where you said you don't want to sign a long term contract. SERO requires a 2 year so it may not be for you.

As far as I know they all require a contract unless you go with clearwire or something but I think their coverage area is pretty limited.

Most of them are doing away with unlimited too. Sprint is capping theirs at 5GB/month.

Slinging Tivo Series 2, Tivo HD, and TW cable from a Pro. Slinging Tivo HD from a Solo, Slinging Humax DRT800, and TW cable from a Classic to Sprint Mogul, AT&T SX66, N62, 8525, and Dell Inspiron 8600 with Sprint EVDO over Windstream DSL.
