Hi All,

I am having a lot of difficulty setting up remote viewing.  Everything is set up correctly, which has been confirmed with Slingbox tech support.  I can view my programming internally within my network, but get an error when trying to access it externally.

Tech support told me "

Your network is now configured, but the port needs to be open by your Internet Service Provider as well. In this case, what I suggest you is to contact your Internet Provider and ask them to open the port 5001 for protocols TCP and UDP on your network

"

I have tried to call Charter whio deferred me to Linksys, who said that my router is out of warranty and would cost $30+ to help.  Can anyone PLEASE HELP???  I am leaving for the UK tomorrow for a year and would really like to get this set up before I go.

Current equipment:  Slingbox Pro, Linksys WRT54G router, Charter modem, Linksys WGA600N bridge.

 Thanks,

Brian
