ok so I'm finally getting my slingbox but I have a quick question. From reading through the posts here the slingboxpro can control up to 4 items BUT it only comes with 1 ir?  There is additional ir's that are available if you get the hd cable?  That would then allow me to control multiple devices?  and that is the only way?  What if I didn't have that and I wanted to control tivo and dvd?

 ALSO....I have a wiring issue so I might have to switch from cable to directv.  BUT I don't want to lose my tivo and since TIVO and Directv can't get along in HD format I'm thinking of getting a directv hddvr and then getting a regular receiver to connect to my tivo.  This way I will use my tivo primarily and only use the dtv hddvr for hd shows (mostly sports).  SO... tell me if this is right..... I would get the HD adapter, plug the dtv hddvr into it and use that ir to control that box.  Then I would plug the tivo into the sbpro and use the regular ir to control that?  Am I good so far?  And then what happens with the dvd player?

 any help is appreciated...
