I own an HTC Tytn II (aka AT&T Tilt in the States): this device supports A2DP protocol to transfer audio to bluetooth other devices.

I would like to know if this feature could be used to play slingbox mobile audio on car audio loudspeakers using a compatible freehand car kit.

There is someone who tried this kind of configuration (Pocket PC----->"Hand Free" car kit with A2DP feature----->Car Loudspeaker)?

Did you have any problem to report?

What model of "Hand Free" car kit do you suggest?

Thanks for your help.

Greetings from Italy!!!

I have had very successful results linking my BlackJack 1 to my bluetooth Pioneer in-deck car stereo. I can both listen to my Slingbox through the Blackjack and listen to all of the MP3's I have saved on the phone, all while being able to make and receive phone calls hands free.

I especially like to listen to the XM music channels from DirecTV while driving to work each morning. My personal favorite is Cinemagic.

I use my Motorola T605 for this with my TyTN II, Blackjack 2, and Treo 750. Works great!

I use the t605 as well. Awesome feature. I use it to stream mp3s off the device, listen to shoutcast streams, and broadcasts of radio stations off their web pages in addition to utilizing the slingbox. I highly recomend it to anyone looking to do this.

I initially tried to go with the T605, but I had to go with the Pioneer w/built-in bluetooth after Best Buy fried my factory radio during the installation of the T605.

I did get the Pioneer free from Best Buy, however.
