Have a slingbox classic (PAL version) hooked up at a relatives house in Worms, Germany. Hooked it up back in February, and it would allways stream at 660 to 800 Kbps to me here in New York. On the 16th of June it started getting only up to 80 - 82 Kbps. Needless to say, you can't watch at that stream. Anyone have an idea what the problem can be?

There could be several things that have caused the problem. Changes in the hosts ISP upload bandwidth, to changes on your own machine.

You might want to have the the folks in Germany run an upload speed test and do a speed test where you are at.

But a ton of things could cause you a problem. Are they using a Bittorent program that is taking up bandwidth?

Have a Sansa device or MP3 player, then check out The latest!

OK. My system is back to where it was when we started. Streaming at an average of 750kbps, and buffering at 100%.
I don't know what they did to the system on the Germany end. Hopefully I will find out in the next few days.
They were on vacation for the last few weeks, and since they got back I have been unable to speak with them. I did leave a message on Yahoo msngr. asking them to check the upload speed on their end, I don't know what they did on their side of the pond, but when I got home from work today I had the above figures. I did not have a response on Yahoo msngr. but I am just happy that the slinging is back the way it was.
