Are you doing anything else at the time it does it? Using anyother remote device? Someone else in the house doing it? Never heard of the unit randomly doing that. It's controlled by the IR cable. Try removing the cable after you have selectede a channel and see if it does that. Whatever your hooked up to may be having the issue not the Sling box...
hi guys,
my problem is that i'm watching one channel and randomly the channel changes to another channel automatically. it's annoying to have to always switch back when im watching something intently. it always switches to the same channel as well. any idea on why this happens or how to fix it?

no one else is using it
the box is connected to a TV upstairs and i use it downstairs
i have dual monitors and im browsing internet/doing some work in some applications when it changes randomly
it seems when i dont touch the computer at all it won't switch

Are you maybe pushing the up/down arrows on your keyboard? Those can change your channels....
