Make sure he setups up remote viewing when he setup the Slingbox remotely. If he gets an "Success" reply then try it.

My brother has just untstalled a Slingbos Solo, he is using a router Belkin f5d 9230-4 not on the recommended list. The sling works fine with his setup in Ireland but when I try to access it here in the USA I get the following error message 0X8007274c. Any help would be great.
