Guys i need help.. I'm hooking up my slingbox pro for the 1st time. I need some help .

1. i know that i need t oinstall the software on my home computer. Do i also have to install the software on my laptop(to view it while i'm on the road)????

2. since it's on the laptop and i'm able to get an internet connection from (wi-fi) Do i have to still configure the modem on the laptop?(i dont what kind of modem it is) OR do i just need to slingboxs id??/ i dont understand how i go abput connecting to my home computer from the laptop. please explain

#1 - Yes, the player needs to be installed on whatever computer you want to watch from

#2 - You don't need to connect your home computer to your laptop. Install Slingplayer on your laptop. Then while at home connect to your slingbox, from then on you can connect remotely and at home form your laptop without any probs. Just make sure you setup remote viewing when you go through the setup wizard.
