This is a brand new device, just out, running Windows Mobile Professional 6.1.

The device is apparantly not supported yet on the Pocket PC software for Slingmedia. The version I am using is 1.6.0.100.  It is the most current version on the website.

Just after I get the "Connected" dialog, the screen goes black, there is a burst of noise, and the application just shuts down.

I have heard of a workaround where the Slipstream Optimizer can be disabled, and resolution set manually to 160X120. I have tried that, but it does not seem to work - the app still shuts down for me on connection. I have also diabled automatic reconnect.

Does anyone else have any ideas at a temporary solution until this device is supported?

Thanks in advance!

Thy this workaround. Under Player options, uncheck enable fast start. Under the advanced tab, check Audio Video Sync Offset, and Use GDI rendering. Leave other settings at default.

This should give a viewable picture until the device is offcially supported.
