Does anyone here have an experience in using an American HDTV in a country that utilizes PAL, but with an HD set top box. Will that work?

You can get in the U.S. a multisystem TV in some dedicated stores, but there are usually inferior models to U.S. models and more expensive. I know that sling does the conversion by itself, and once the catcher is out, I can plug the local setop box to sling and the local American TV to slingcatcher; however, I am looking for an eaiser solution.

Any input would be appreciated.
