I wonder if anybody offering some sort of service like uktv2c from philippines providing dream tv channels of the Philippines.  a number of us will be interested.

The problem is that in the Philippines hte upload speeds are abysmal..

I could stream Dream TV but even that doesnt have nice quality.

I wonder why not more people offer a service like  http://www.onlineopnemen.nl/ ? (sorry, the site is in Dutch)

I use this in fact more as my slingbox. It allows me to record programs online on the server of the service provider. (just like a remote DVR) If the recording is ready, I can download it with a download manager

The benefits are :

- no more problems with the time diference, you can watch the shows when it suits you

- better quality as with an average slingbox setup (1000 kbps, 640x480 resolution, try mms://62.204.69.107/movies/demo_169_1000.wmv )

- no more internet issues. Upload doesn't matter and if you are in a country with terrible download, you watch the show after the download manager did the job.
