Everything was working fine for me at home but I couldn't get my remote connection to work at the office. I was at home and started changing the port under Network Settings. The only one it worked with was 5001. I tried several and after I tried Port 25 I got the error '0x9234006D' - operation failed. Now the settings won't load so I can't change the port back to 5001.

Is there a way to plug directly into the SB so I can change the port? My directory tells me that the LAN is available but whenever I select it I only get the '0x9234006D' error.

Now nothing works and I can't load the settings. Any ideas? Very frustrated.

Thanks in advance for anyone with any ideas.

You don't use the port when connecting locally so it really shouldn't be a problem. Have you tried resetting the SB to factory?

Slinging Tivo Series 2, Tivo HD, and TW cable from a Pro. Slinging Tivo HD from a Solo, Slinging Humax DRT800, and TW cable from a Classic to Sprint Mogul, AT&T SX66, N62, 8525, and Dell Inspiron 8600 with Sprint EVDO over Windstream DSL.

I have clicked Original Settings everywhere I could find. Still get the same error.

It shows up in the directory as LAN Available - The information tab lists everything as an Error - no ip, port, etc.

'0x9234006D' - operation failed - It just can't load the settings. Driving me crazy.

I would reset the Slingbox, using the button on the back.
Then re-run the setup wizard.
If you can get port 5001 working you should be all set.

I will add that I had to RMA a Sling before because it wouldn't reset..

Well it reset but it never got an IP address ever again.
