Hello all, I have got a Slingbox AV connected to a Scientific Atlanta 8300 DVR.  It is also connected to the internet via a D-Link Xbox wireless bridge connector, which is then broadcasting to a Linksys WRT54G router connected to my cable modem...whew!

 While that is my setup, here is are my questions;

1-I have an unlocked Cingular 8125 running Windows Mobile 6.1, as well as the Sling Player Mobile 6 software.  It is connected to the SunCom EDGE/GPRS network, and herein lies my dilema, I can connect to my Slingbox via my devices WiFi, but not via EDGE/GPRS...I have spoken with customer support, and they are of course no help.  I know that remote veiwing is enabled, because I can watch my Slingbox on my other computers, but therin lies my next question-

2-Is my remote veiwing REALLY enabled?  Or am I just watching my Slingbox via LAN or something?  Ive got my port open for it, and the wizard says that its setup correctly, but I really dont know.

Any help is appreciated!-Christian, AKA-ashasaur

Can you watch with a laptop at your friend's house or at a coffee shop?
