The sling link is a great choice. However, I have found that a signal going through a sling link has a finite length. If the electrical wiring is too long the signal won't make it.
Are there any issues performance wise using slinglink turbo where the tv and the router are on different floors? The area the tv is in doesn't get great wireless coverage so I think going through the powerline would be the best bet.
