Any ideas appreciated. I've got an xp pc that is HDMI/DVI wired to a sony tv as second monitor (ati radeon card - 16650 or some such??).

When the Sony TV changes channel to or from the HDMI/DVI input, the computer monitor gives a quick flash to black - presumably something happening in the graphics card in response to the tv connection being connected / disconnected.

 It has always done this with no problems, whatever the pc was doing.

 However, I've just started running slingplayer on the PC and watching on TV. It works fine, except when I change channel on Sony tv - e.g. to check another channel. The usual black flash occurs, but this now crashes the computer if (and only if) slingplayer is running. The crash is complete - immediate hard reset.

Any ideas?
