You can try to DL Net Frame work here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8... Then install and if it goes ok then try and install 2.0 again. If it does not install need to debug that first.

Thanks for the help, the only thing that worked was a tip I picked up by Googling the error message Error 25007 while installing fusion........

"Rename mscoree.dll in %windir%\system32 and try to install the framework"

After renaming the file the Beta 2 install worked perfectly. Lots of nice features the most usufull for me is the channel guide, much faster than cable guide.
