I really hope you can help. Please remember that I did not set up my slingbox and am not technically-minded when you reply!!
We have been having a lot of trouble with our slingbox. It is installed in the UK and we bought it to watch in Dubai. We have now encountered the same problem twice and as we can't solve it when abroad this is quite urgent as I'm leaving for Dubai again very soon.
My husband set up the slingbox at home in the UK and on our mac, no problems at all. When he went to Dubai it worked for 1 day and then stopped. We installed the software on a PC too and still no luck. We got the following message:
"You can’t connect to the Slingbox right now. Make sure it is set up for remote viewing, and that the network router the Slingbox is connected to has the correct Port Forwarding settings."
We set it up from scratch when we came back to the UK for a holiday. He is now back in Dubai with the mac and the same thing happened again; he could watch for one day and the next day it stopped with the same message.
The difference is this time I am at home with the PC and receive a signal no problem at all. It is not a problem with the internet connection is Dubai as this is working fine and they do not block slingboxes.
What can we do? I am due to return very soon and need this sorted out! Please remember that I will need an idiot's guide!

OK, I've followed a setup assistant and only got so far, my Sky Netgear router says that the Slingbox IP address is illegal! Any advice?!
