Hi friends,

I am using Dreambox DM 500S with my Slingbox.  Very few buttons work.

Red,GREEN,BLUE & YELLOW  buttons are disabled can anyone tell me how to enable thses buttons.

With interested I have read that you got the Dreambox DM500S working with Sling via remot but that you stuck on the additional buttons. As for me I am still searching for the correct code, to get it work. Perhaps if you dont mind you can give me a hint, what I should set.

Thanks a lot in advance, because try already since months without  success and no answer from the Sling gang.

Thanks for quoting at least I found someone who is facing similar issue.

Sir I have a UK SLINGBOX & DREAMBOX DM500S.

I loaded UK sling player and even US sling player both works fine. But only RED,GREEN,YELLOW & BLUE button & EXIT button are not functional. 

No one has the solution to  make them functional.

Sling support people says that they support DM 600 Not DM500.

Can anyone confirm that DM 600 works with sling or not.

Hi there
I have the US Slingbox version with Dreambox DM500S, so if the support say that it should work with DM500, then why do we have the trouble, since all boxes are same, wheter for Satellite or Cable. Lets hope and see whether there is some help out there on this issue.

Just check again on the slingbox player, I can not find the Dreambox DM500S in the configuration, so how did you got it work, which device, i.e. cable box did you took to get it work appart from the colour buttons?

US Slingbox donot SUPPORT DREAMBOXES.

I HAVE UK Slingbox which support Dreambox but I have DM500S and sling only support DM600 onwards so with my DM500 only few basic buttons work not all.

If you want Slingbox to support DREAMBOXES best is BUY one from UK.

i have a dm7000 and the same problem
red green yelow and blue buttons are disabled

@snowboarder I dont think there is anyone here to help you because I am searching the same from serevral months.

But I think Sling People are dead.. no one is coming up with some solution since 2-3 years.

do one thing chat with customer care may be they may help you....

i did a chat with the cutomer care and they say that it will be supported in the next software update Wink

@snowboarder from last several months they are also saying the same to me....
