Hi Guy's,

I've been trying to check through the threads, can anyone tell me if it is possible to setup a slingbox(solo) in the UAE(Dubai) to a local cable box such as Showtime or Orbit and if so does it work if watching from the UK? I know a lot of people seem to be watching in Dubai from the UK or US cable boxes, but wondered if anyone used it the other way round?

Technically, it should work. The major thing you need to watch out for is if the Slingbox supports your DVR/Receiver. Otherwise you will be watching only the same channel. And someone at the location of the slingbox will have to change channels for you.
