Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing any of these bizarre issues:

1.) Lose all control of slingbox after random period of time (approx. 10 minutes) - includes on-screen remote as well as hotkeys - only way to fix is to close out of the program and re-open it - problem began after upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 beta.

2.) Clicking the Program Guide button does nothing...when hovering over it with the mouse, states "Sorry, the Program Guide is not available on the current device." At one instance of slingplayer running it was replaced with a "heart" icon that allowed me to see favorites, but that was random and I have not seen that icon since. I was also not asked to enter my zip code during the setup.

3.) Fullscreen mode sometimes still has taskbar visible at bottom...have to click the slingplayer to make it go "full" fullscreen.

stats:
- Win Vista Business Edition
- Slingplayer beta 2.0.0.447
- Coaxial connection to a VCR that connects to a Slingbox PRO

On a positive note, I am experiencing better quality than 1.5.

After updating to 2.0.0.457 beta:

Prob 1.) Fixed  Smile

Prob 2.) Not fixed  Frown

Prob 3.) Still occurs on occasion, not a big deal  Undecided

3. In the month I used version 2.0 I couldn't get full "full screen", there were always some version 2.0 bars/menus/whatever you want to call them, on the screen.  I reverted to 1.5 today mainly for this reason.

4. The guide doesn't work in Canada, would have been nice to know before the install.

2.) I actually got the program guide to work by specifying DVR instead of VCR during setup. Fortunately, one of the remote code sets worked for my VCR and I now have the program guide feature working. It also helps that I live in the US.

Regarding the Fullscreen issue, it sometimes helps to click the actual image for it to go fullscreen. If the cursor is hovering over the remote or titlebar, etc. it will not go fullscreen.

Now that I've tweaked my way into getting 2.0 working, I am enjoying v2.0 over v1.5. The release version has been stable for me.
