I am sitting in the Radisson in Tallin, Estonia with a nice fast free WIFI service and can't get the SlingPlayer to connect to my Slingbox in Fairfax, VA.

I was in Russia the last week and did get it to connect twice, though more often than not it would not connect.  The error code I am getting 0x8000400.  I assume the problem is the bandwidth is not strong enough to optimize the stream (it is a Slinbox Solo).

Before I left I checked out the connection on some local WIFI networks and got it to work and like I said, it did work briefly in Russia.  Can I assume I am screwed for the next 4 days.

It is hardly worth owning the thing if it won't do what it is supposed to do.
