I thought I would be brave and upgrade my slingplayer to 2.0 beta. It kind of worked sometimes but not reliably (Even on the LAN) and couldnt change channels reliably at all.  Tonight I reformatted my PC, reinstalled XP pro and installed the old 1.5. Now I can connect to it just fine, but cant change the channels at all. this combo used to work before but now doesnt.  My model isnt in the list of humax models, so I tried all the custom ones and still didnt work.

I also had a nice Tivo remote and now its a generic. Any ideas how I can get this working again? thanks!

This is a little confusing - you're in the US with a Humax TiVo? The T800/2500 or the DRT400/800?

Hi megazone. yes Im in the US. It is a DRT800 I believe.

So a DVD-combo unit. You should have a legit TiVo remote available, if the Humax DRT800 isn't listed it uses the same remote as the Toshiba RS-TX20/60. Try redoing the input setup and looking for it under Standalone DVRs.

thanks megazone. I just went through setup again to change it. It sseems Toshiba RS-TX20/60 isnt an option for me to select :(

OK, this is how I find it in SP2.0.
What type of device - Standalone DVR
Who manufactured - TiVo Humax
Model - DRT800
