Congrats on releasing 2.0 for Windows, but that platform is on the way out while Macs are on the way up.

When is the Mac client going to see some attention?

No doubt - what is the ETA for the Mac upgrade?

Indeed..an update would be nice!

Market Share is not a valid excuse for a company that markets their product as Mac Compatible...with a client that is light years beyond the windows equiv.

i whould be amazed if we see 2.0 for the mac before this year, you really will not get a straight answer.I waited for so long to get this to watch hd on my imac but of course we have to wait

There will not be a 2.0 for Mac. That is what I have been told.

There is work going on that is putting platform equality in place so that all platforms will be basically at the same rev level. But Sling is not giving an update on when that might be released or even announced. Given their track record on announcements and the actual release dates, I think they are going to play their cards pretty close to the chest from now on and not announce something until the release date is realistic.

We will have a good wait before we get a next generation Mac SlingPlayer. It sucks and I've told Sling that but this is the reality.

Slinging with a SlingCatcher, a ProHD, a Pro, a Solo, an AV, and a Slingbox Classic. 3 Replay TV units, a Roku Photobridge and a Roku M2000 Soundbridge, an AppleTV, a Vudu, and digital cable. www.na9d.net
