I'm experiencing extremely choppy audio and video on all 4 of my Vista machines. I've tried setting the SlingPlayer.exe priority to High but there is no improvement.  No other applications running and have streaming set to factory default.  Gigabit Ethenet.

Specs:

Slingplayer 2.0 final
Hardware version: 1.2.1
Firmware version: 1.2.9

32-bit Vista Ultimate SP1
No A/V or any crap utilities
Intel Core 2 Duo # 3.0 GHz
4 GB DDR RAM
Gigabit Ethernet NIC and switch fabric

The quality is so bad that SB is completely unuseable on any of my Vista machines but plays just fine on a MUCH older XP laptop over 802.11g.

Has anyone else having these problems?

I have no problems at all with remote WAN operation on three Vista machines and one XP machine. I never upgraded to Splayer 2.0 nor to the latest SB firmware because of the many horror stories on this forum.

Sorry I can't help you with your problem, but it's definitely not Vista.

2.0 worked fine on my XP laptop so I guess I made a huge mistake in upgrading the clients on my Vista machines.
