As the title says, I have lost 16:9 and 14:3 from my solo? any way to get them back, it all worked just fine in the previous copy of SlingPlayer?

Same issue here.

This stinks. Please post the old version of SlingPlayer so we can get the missing functionality back.

Thanks!

This is being discussed in the thread here: http://www.slingcommunity.com/forum/thread/30588/Sling-Player-for-Mac-Aspect-...

There's a download link to the UK version, which is the previous version and doesn't have this bug.

I fixed this on my iMac on my Slingbox Pro by installing 1.0.4 and 1.0.6 side by side (calling one Slingplayer 1.0.4 and the other Slingplayer 1.0.6 - very creative) then viewing each video source in 1.0.4 and setting the aspect ratio to 16:9. Now when I view the same source in 1.0.6 the window correctly pops to 16:9!

Also I found that if you copy the Remotes folder from the 1.0.6 package to the 1.0.4 package it adds support for all the new remotes to the old software, which was useful as 1.0.6 added UK SkyHD as its own remote.

Thanks for the link. Hopefully Sling will Google "Aspect Ratio" and "16:9."
