setup went fine and the video within home LAN goes ok until it finishes optimizing and moves to streaming. speed is 3-4mb. The video just freezes while the audio is fine. I can stop and restart and it goes back to live, but then will soon freeze again. Anyone else with the problem and more importantly a fix? Thanks

This is with the latest 1.0.6 SlingPlayer?

-MegaZone, Sling Media Beta Manager
Slingbox Pro, HD Connect, TiVo Series3, TiVo Pioneer DVR-810H, SPM Treo 680, SP WinXP
(I also run GizmoLovers.com)

I'm having the same issues. Pretty much working very slow. It'll connect, work for a few seconds, then stop again. Windows 2.0 works well though with no hiccups. Just the mac end of things. ProHD w/the latest sling player software.

Pretty much the same here. Strangely, I just was on the road and it worked very well remotely with about a 1000kb speed over wifi and did not freeze. When I am on my local network at about 3-5x that speed it freezes

I'll throw my name in the hat for seeing the exact same issue. Streaming at about 4500kbps it will freeze and all I get is the audio. (This is with the brand new software, 1.0.6)

Okay, here's something interesting to note... I have a much greater chance of watching video on my mac if it's NIGHT!! Does this mean that the signal is better after hours than during the day? Slingbox is connected to a sling turbo 4 port, the turbo in my office is connected to the best outlet and wired directly into the Airport Extreme hub. Again, my windows machine has no problems connecting and showing video at all times of the day in full HD to boot! It's just the mac end of things. The powermac that I'm trying to watch on is also connected directly to the airport extreme hub and not via wireless etc.

I don't get it... Unless it's software related perhaps, but that doesn't explain the time thing.
