I have the Solo box my problem is that receiver and the router are in different room. What do I need to make this work. Thank you
while I was home for christmas i bought a slingbox SOLO and hooked it up to a Dish network DVR 625. when I initially set it up, the remote controls worked fine. now, I can't get anything to work. I have a picture, but I can't change the channels or turn the receiver on or off. I had my parents check the IR blaster with a digital camera, and they are lighting up, so why won't it work any more?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. SlingBox Solo was working great with the Dish 625. I did a firmware update, and now all I get is a picture, but the remote doesn't work at all.

I have the exact same problem. I got it to work initially, couple of days later it stopped. Then I setup everything again. It worked again for a couple days and now it has stopped again. Anybody find a resolution yet?

Same problem here. I have a Tivo Series 3 and the remote stopped working with it after the last firmware update.

I just replaced my IR blaster and its working now. Kind of strange it broke immediately after the last firmware update. I checked the original blaster with my cell phone camera and they werent lighting up so I had a different problem than the original poster.
