Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is a SlingPlayer 2.0 or SlingBox Classic problem, but I'm posting in this forum regardless... I recently updated to SlingPlayer 2.0, and have been trying to complete the configuration of my SlingBox Classic (UK) to no avail...

Some background - my power supply recently died, and have been without my SlingBox for a few weeks until I got a replacement. When I first plugged it back in, I couldn't remember the password, so did a factory reset - so I'm effectively setting it up from scratch.

The problem is when I reach the "Configure Video Sources" part, I select the "Composite" input, and the video/audio streams correctly in the mini-screen on the top-left of Setup Assistant; but when I try to select the type of device I have plugged in (to configure the remote control), nothing shows up in the manufacturer/model drop-downs, apart from "Other" (FYI I have a Sky+ receiver connected).

I thought it was Windows 7 related (I'm running the RC), so also tried on XP x64 (SP2) and XP 32-bit (SP3). Same problem on all three operating systems. The only thing in common is Kaspersky AntiVirus, so I disabled that too (as a matter of fact, I had to disable it just to get the installer to work on Windows 7), but that made no difference.

I'm now completely stumped and don't know what else to do... any tips would be greatly appreciated! I'll be contacting Sling support tomorrow, but in the meantime I thought I'd reach out to you guys!
