BTW this is on both Firefox 3.5 and safari 4.0 & 4.1...i know it says it doesn't support these browsers so i guess i can't complain too loudly, but what is it that breaks the plugin so badly that both of these browser upgrades can't handle and how long does it take to fix? Safari 4 has been out for over a month and Firefox 3.5 has been in beta (just rlsd golden) for much longer.

anyone have links to the older Safari versions?

I tried manually entering as static14 seems to have tried and i can now get to the part where it says Connecting. Starting Stream. and then it hangs or crashes depending on the browser:

ho hum...still doesn't work even though the beta page says safari 4 is supported...guess i'll be looking at other options...too bad, i liked Sling's minimalism but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

SOLUTION:

I was having the same issue, running the latest Safari, MacOS X 10.5.8, firmware etc. on a Slingbox Pro-HD...

I tried a number of things but the culprit for me turned out to be my Sling Account. Try logging onto:

https://slingaccounts.slingmedia.com/Accounting/Web/Account.html

And create a fresh new account and add your Slingbox to it. Worked like a charm for me, hope this helps!
