I have 3 PCs.  All work when connected to router (Belkin N+) via Ethernet cable.  Only 2 (XP) connect to slingbox when connected to router wirelessly on my home network (WPA).  All 3 work when connected to internet wirelessly outside my home network.  That is, one of my PCs (Vista) doesn't connect to slingbox via MY wireless network, but works fine w/ others.  It can see it on the network, and says it's available, but won't connect.

In fact, when I click on the Information tab in the slingbox properties, it won't even show me the settings.

Unable to connect to the Slingbox. Please check your network, firewall and router settings.

 (Context: 20, Operation: 110, Error: 0x92360006)

I've disabled the router firewall, the McAfee Security Center, and anything else that could be blocking it, but nothing helped.  There are no blocks or errors in the Event Viewer.  I'm pretty sure it's not McAfee b/c it does work fine at a Starbucks, for example. I wonder what connection there is b/t the PC itself and the router config b/c the others work fine.  The major difference, I guess, is the OS.

Tried that -- MSFT said update was not applicable to my system (presumably b/c I already have SP1).  I should note that I have no trouble connecting my computer to the wireless network, but rather that my computer cannot connect to the slingbox.

Same problem here. Can connect desktop PC and Blackberry but new Dell laptop with Vista Home generates this error even with all security off. Thanks for lousy support Sling!!
