Ive had my sling box solo for about 10 months now and its been working fine. A couple weeks ago I got noticed there was an software upgrade so I installed it. Since then I have had problems connecting. I can get the software to connect, but only for a second then the picture freezes and the software shuts down. Ive been able to get it to connect a few times since the upgrade, but 90% of the time it wont. Sometimes I get the following message.

*Connection Failed: You Cant connect to the Slingbox right now. Make sure its set up for remote veiwing, and that the network router the Slingbox is connected to has the correct Port Forwarding settings.*

Its weird cause the message only comes up from time to time. I have a macbook with a timecapsle wireless HD/router. My internet is through comcast and seems to be working fine. We have the top internet package so speed isnt an issue. My SB is hooked up and both red lights are on. Oh ya, Im here at my house where the slingbox is located. Any thoughts on what might be the issue?

I guess I'm the proud owner of a SOLO paperweight. Awesome!

The new software update... for me at least .. is bugged. I can download and run 2.0.3.508 but if I update to the new version (and it keeps asking me to) then the slingbox cannot connect.

For those having problems connecting, I suggest that you just download the old version - it works for me !
