It's a god possibility it has a bad (or weak) power supply. Might try that.
ive had this slingbox tuner for a good while and without incident, up until now. the power led is ON, the cat5 cable IS connected to the router (securily with a NEW cat5) and still nothing, ive reset the slingbox, ive reset the router to factory (Linksys WRT350N), still nothing, the led internet light on the slingbox remains off! due to this i am unable to install the latest firmware (if that were the problem), i literally can do ZERO to access the slingbox, let me add that ive also gone over all port forwarding and it appears to remain correct. does anyone have a clue as to whats going on?

When asking for setup help please include whether you are using a PC or Mac and if you are using the Standalone Slingplayer or the web based setup program.

Thank you... thats an option i hadn't even considered. I will look into that first thing.
BTW.. I'm using a PC Vista with stand alone Slingbox
