I have not heard anything at all. Love the phone but if using it with the Slingbox is a deal breaker you may want to wait until there is something available or some kind of news.

When asking for setup help please include whether you are using a PC or Mac and

if you are using the Standalone Slingplayer or the web based setup program.

I have been holding off until Verizon offers the Samsung Omnia 2. It is my undertsanding that it should work with SB mobile as the original Omnia did. No firm date on it's release by Verizon so the new Motorola caught my eys as it will be available on Nov 6th. Oh Well!!

Yes, would have bought a Droid, but now waiting on the omnia 2. Must have slingplayer!

You can let Slingbox know you want SlingPlayer for your Android phone (or Droid even) by following the link below. Sign up, comment and vote on the "Players for Desktop and Mobile Feedback Forum"
