      <description>Gents, My Sling box (Sling Box Pro Red Color) network suddenly stopped working 2 days ago. It was working fine before. It is connected to Netgear 54 MBPS Wireless router. Light on network is not glowing at all. Tested serveral times by stopping router and Slingbox too. To test if my router is palying any foul game, i took it to my friends palce and plugged to his router. It didnt work. Any thoughts or guidence. Thanks GBk</description>

      <title>high bitrate (2000+) bad picture</title>

      <description>Hello everyone. My rate goes up to 3500 or so and most channels are ok but my major channels (abc, cbs, nbc) are poor, poor, poor. Actually one doesn't come in and says &amp;quot;no or weak signal&amp;quot;. Any ideas? It doesn't make sense to my non-technical mind. Almost forgot, I'm on comcast cable with no cable box (use cable card) and a direct cable line to slingbox. Thanks for your help.</description>

      <description>Hello, I live in Spain. My Dad, in the UK, is now a proud owner of a Slingbox PRO. He has an ADSL connection with a wireless router from TalkTalk. This connection works fine - I know, because I have been over a few times with my laptop. Thing is, my Dad doesn't do computers. The setup is quite simple, in theory. He has a coax cable coming out of the wall that is connected to a Digital Terrestrial antenna. The cable is free for me to use and the router is sitting in the vicinity. All I want on Spain is the Freeview UK stuff. No cable. My older brother is at hand, but it also no real nerd.He could plug the box into to the router and the TV cable into the box, but I believe there is some configuring to do which might mean accessing the router's firewall. Not sureif there is a standard login/password for the talktalk box. What is the best way to go about this, apart from my having to fly over and do it myself.</description>

      <title>Left and Right edges of the picture being cut off</title>

It&amp;rsquo;s as if the slingbox is streaming in 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 as it should be. I&amp;rsquo;ve played with every setting on my slingplayer, re-installed it, and updated to the latest version. I&amp;rsquo;ve also tried different video inputs to the slingbox, starndard cable, s-video, etc. Nothing has corrected this problem. I have this problem when watching on my computer, through sling.com and on my iphone so I think it&amp;rsquo;s a problem with the slingbox not the slingplayer. When I originally set up my slingbox it worked fine, but when I moved and switched from Comcast to ATT U-verse I&amp;rsquo;ve had this problem. Any help would be appreciated.</description>

      <title>Sling Pro not working now with new TV</title>

      <description>I've had slingbox pro for a year or so and everything worked great. Recently we bought a new HD TV for the house, where the sling box/DVR are connected. Since we got the HD TV every time that I try to watch using something on my computer using the sling I get a black screen with a message that says "weak signal". I don't want to watch HD on my computer, I just want to get the same quality I had before. I still have non-HD channels and I thought I would be able to still watch those channels with my sling. What do I need to do to get my sling working? Thanks and sorry if this a repost. I checked a couple of threads and none seemed to fit my story exactly. P.S. I was looking at the HD Connect Cable (on amazon and Sling Media's site) as a solution but I don't think I have enough outputs on my DVR unless I don't understand how it works). Just in case this helps I have a Panasonic Viera HD TV and have Comcast's standard Motorola DVR.</description>
