Need help getting slingplayer mobile V1.6 to work on my Touch Pro

I just replaced my PPC 6700 that I've had for 2.5 years and using my slingplayer mobile software on for almost that long, with a Touch Pro yesterday. I've tried the .CAB file route (which I've used a bunch of times) and the PC route, and it installed in both routes, but won't connect. What I mean is that the player launches and tries to connect, then after 2 seconds, the red sling 'dots' go away and I'm left with a blank screen with al tabs grayed out, except the volume slider and the mute tab. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, but now it won't let me reinstall and at first it did, now it won't at all. Latest attempts I get a error msgs saying that the version need to be pocket pc version. I've even tried using the smartphone version and then get the msg that I need a pocket pc version. At my wits end, please help. Edit: I'm still using a Classic, and I upgraded my slingplayer version to 2.0 Should I downgrade?

Sling Player Mobile Pocket PC Can't Connect Anymore

Hello, Everything was fine until I updated from Dish Network to ATT U-Verse. I was able to re-configure my Sling Box Pro to sling to my laptop but not my Pocket PC. I updated to the new Pocket PC 1.6 software thinking that might do it but still canot cannot. All I get is unable to connect to Slingbox. I tried to get into video input to reconfigure the new ATT Cable box but it is greyed out. I just don't understand why I can sling to my laptop but not to my phone anymore. Can anybody please help me?? I am leaving out of town this weekend and would love to be able to sling to my pocket pc (which is a Verizon VX 6800) thanks and happy holidays!

Is SlingMobile Good on the Samsung BlackJack?

I have just discovered that on the Slingbox website that there are small stars next to some compatible phones which means they only work good with Wi-Fi. I have been a victim of not seeing this and purchased a T-Mobile Dash. The picture is slow and choppy and I will look to get a new phone. My question is if anyone uses SlingPlayer Mobile on the Samsung Blackjack (T-Mobile) and how good is the video quality. I am thinking about buying this phone in hopes of being able to watch my cable on it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, SlingPlayer WM works great on my Touch HD (480x800) apart from the control panel which is all squashed and unusable... I guess QVGA skin on a WVGA device is the problem? Anyone else having this issue with other WVGA devices? (I have droped SlingMedia support an email also)
