Blackberry resets when using power on/off

I have the Blackberry Tour 9630 from Verizon. I was very excited to see that the Bold SlingPlayer Mobile software works on the 9630 (many have posted this). I downloaded SlingPlayer Mobile and it works fine on my Tour, with one significant exception. If my home DirecTv DVR is not powered on, and I try to use the SlingPlayer Mobile remote to power it on (or off), the Tour resets. In other words, I can only use SlingPlayer Mobile if my DVR is already on at home. All other functions on the Tour work fine - channel up/down, select, list, guide, etc. Can anyone solve this?

Some questions about the Blackberry SPM lisence

First I should say I'm a Storm user so I'm already in a bad place. My question is about the nature of the lisence that one can purchase for SPM BB. If I buy the SPM for the Pearl for use in compatibility mode with the Storm can I easily download a Storm version for free should Sling ever decide to get a f**king clue? Basically, am I buying a lisence for the Blackberry version of SPM or just for the Pearl version of SPM? The other question is where can I buy it? All I see are links to DL but nothing to buy. Thanks

I am using the slinplayer app on an ipod touch 3g with an apple composite a/v cable. With video out other apps such as Youtube produce vdieo and audio, sling only produces audio. I also tried the apple composite a/v cable. Neither the Apple tech nor the Sling tech knows why. The both said that their products is not cause the problem. They both said that the problem was the responsiblility of the other party. Any comments or suggestion. Thanks Kenny g

Sling Media Updates Symbian S60 SlingPlayer, Adds Support for New Devices

<img align="right" hspace="10" src="http://www.slingcommunity.com/imagelib/contentitem/39405/f0f219158e118e83--5b0d235a-12502d7c384-4ff1518484456.jpg">S60 owners should take notice. Sling Media's been hard at work on a new build of SlingPlayer Mobile for Symbian S60 , which, along with the typical helping of minor fixes and patches, adds support for new handsets like the popular Nokia E71, E71x, and brand new E72. Furthermore, Sling also says they expect this build to play nicely with all 3rd edition Symbian S60 devices, even if they're not on the officially supported list. All 3rd edition users are encouraged to download the 30-day trial to see if it works on their handset. Officially supported list: Nokia N96 Nokia N95 8GB Nokia N95 Nokia N85 Nokia N82 Nokia N79 Nokia N75 Nokia N73 Nokia E75 Nokia E72 Nokia E71x Nokia E71 Nokia E65 Nokia E63 Nokia E52 Nokia 6790 Surge Nokia 6120 5th edition devices won't have any luck with this build, but Sling says they're hard at work on that front, but no specific time frame has been given. Download SlingPlayer Mobile for Symbian S60 , and post below if your Symbian S60 handset is now up and running.

Can't delete favorites in iphone app

Hi, I just started with the sling solo and the iphone app. everything is fine except that I can't delete favorites. I have read the instructions on how to do this, but when I tap the unwanted to favorite nothing happens. I tryed deleting that app and re-installing but that didn't help as all the favorites I don't want remain. I don't know why the app would retain my favorites some place on the iphone where they don't get deleted but that seems to be what is happening. any help? Thanks ps. any word on an update to the current version of the app?
