two slingboxes one slingcatcher

I have two slingbox pros each set on a satellite receiver. I can get both receivers on my laptop but only one on my slingcatcher. On my slingcatcher I can see the names of both receivers in my connect menu, but each name brings in the same box. I recently changed receivers and had help from slingbox support to do so, when doing this I did it on my laptop, I could not see my slingcatcher as it was in another location. When setting up my replaced receiver, I used the same email address for both receivers and the same password for both. Brit20

Setup Help

I have setup 1 slingcatcher before so it's not the first time. Network connection is fine. Dynamic IP and no firewall. I plug my brand new slingcatcher in... both light is on: power and network. it asks me to select language. I did. press ok to term and condition. i did. now playing an intro video press ok. i did. then everything went dark, the network light went off, and after a minute or two, it went back to selecting language screen. So i can't even get past the intro video to setup slingcatcher. Please help! much appreciated!!

Two SlingCatchers, One Problem

I have a remote SlingBox Solo, and two SlingCatchers (different rooms). Both receive the SlingBox Solo feed just fine. Both USED TO receive the SlingProjector feed just fine until recently. Now, no matter what I do, I can connect to the SlingCatcher in my bedroom, but I can not connect to the SlingCatcher in my living room. The exact message I get when I try to connect is "Disconnected. Connection blocked by SlingCatcher. Click Connect to start SlingProjector. Click Exit to quit." This error message doesn't seem to appear anywhere on the web. Both SlingCatchers are setup exactly the same way. In fact, the odd thing is that my Living Room SlingCatcher is connected directly to the router (DIR-655), while the Bedroom SlingCatcher is connected to a DAP-1522 (Wireless N Bridge) that is connected to the router wirelessly. As I said, the Living Room SlingCatcher can connect to the SlingBox fine, so the network is functioning properly. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have attached a 1TB hard drive with lots of files on it. Some files show up through the Sling Catcher but many don't even show up when I try to view them on my TV. If files are located in folders, do they disappear?

What download speed do I realistically need to run slingcatcher?

I've been searching and keep finding conflicting answers. I would like to set up a slingbox in the United States. Upload speed in the U.S. is about 4.25Mbps over wireless, so that should not be an issue. However, I am concerned about the bandwidth requirements for the slingcatcher. I would like to set the slingcatcher up in Mexico. Telmex offers an ADSL service, but the speeds are not very good. There cheapest package is 1Mbps download speed, next up is 2Mbps. There is another that offers 4+Mbps, but it is a bit more expensive than I am interested in. What can I get away with and have a quality picture with minimal to no disruptions on a 42 inch Television? If anyone can tell me, especially from experience, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Will it work for me?

Ok, it seems pretty hard to find a clear answer on this, and I'm hoping to get a good clear answer before I throw out a lot of money on this. I want to be able to connect to a Dish HD receiver at my brother's house. He has a 1.55Mbps upload speed. If I put an SB300 SlingBox Pro at his house and a SlingCatcher at my house (hooked up to my 5Mbps download speed connection) on my 42 inch 1080p TV, what kind of picture should I expect? Assuming the Internet speeds stay steady, can I assume a quality (near HD) and steady TV watching experince with it? Has anyone heard rumors of a better slingcatcher or quality enhancing firmware update to be released anytime soon? TIA
