Play music continuously

Is it possible to play music using my Sling Catcher in one continuous loop using my USB connection? Right now, when I plug in my flash drive loaded with several songs, I have to manually play each separate song. I am not sure, for example, if I can play several songs straight through without having to press play for each song? Thanks.

Slingcatcher / Slingbox Pro-HD lockups after 2 minutes

I am using Slingcatcher over a wireless N newtwork connected with a WET610 bridge device. All firmware from the router, bridge, slingcatcher and slingbox pro-HD is current. Withing 2-5 minutes of connecting to my Slingbox PRO-HD using my Slingcatcher just on my LAN, I get a lockup with the picture. I can still control my catcher with the remote, but the slingbox video is stuck. If I disconnect and try to re-connect, I get a Network Error... problem connecting to the Slingbox. The only solution is to reboot my Slingbox PRO-HD, which will allow me to reconnect. However, I get the lockup again after a couple minutes. It happens every time. I also have a remote slingbox PRO, which I can connect to over the Internet without any issues. When I lock-up using my PRO-HD on my LAN, I can switch over to the Internet sling-PRO box and watch without any problems. Also, I am able to use slingplayer on my computer without ANY lockups on my PRO-HD (LAN) and PRO (remote) slingboxes. No issues on the PC. Even when I am locked up on the slingcatcher, and I disconnect and try to reconnect without success... I am able to...

SLINGCATCHER (SC100-140) & WD My Book Essential External Hard Drives 1 TB, USB 2.0 (Not Working) Unable to get my external hard drive recognized by the Sling Catcher. Followed all the proper instructions as far as the hookup of the system goes. Originally I had a Maxtor External Harddrive 500GB hooked up and received the error “Unsupported” Doing a little bit of research, I found out that the reason why it wasn’t connecting to the Maxtor external harddrive is because the system was formatted in NTFS . Since the Sling Catcher only supports FAT32 , I went out and purchased a WD My Book Essential External Hard Drives 1 TB, USB 2.0. - Model: WDBAAF0010HBK. The reason why I purchased the WD My Book Essential External Hard Drive is because it is one of the recommended drives by the manufacturers of Sling Catcher. Information can be referenced here ( http://support.slingbox.com/get/KB-005693) Copied and Pasted: from Sling Catchers Website Our research has shown that these drives work very well with SlingCatcher: Western Digital My Book Essential USB drive Western Digital My Passport Essential USB drive However it states on Sling Catchers website following : These drives come pre-formatted using the FAT32 file...

Inconsistent SlingCatcher Stream

I now use (two) SlingLink Turbo and (one) SlingLink adapters to connect my SlingCatcher and Slingbox Classic to my D-Link DIR-825 router. I've grown increasingly frustrated by the inconsistent nature of the stream I experience when the SlingCatcher is connected to the Slingbox. While at one moment the stream may exceed 1500-2000Kbps, it may also fall below 500Kbps at another. Given that I'm using powerline adapters and not wi-fi, I'm at a loss to explain this dramatic variation in stream speed from one minute to the next. Any thoughts? I'm not sure if it's a SlingCatcher or Slingbox Classic problem, or if it has to do with my SlingLink adapaters (newish and oldish). Thanks.

Connecting to a NAS with Slingcatcher

Hiya, I have a Synology DS209+II NAS which contains all our media (videos, pictures, music) and whenever I try to attach it as storage to my slingcatcher I always receive the invalid userid/pw error message. I know that my credentials are right because I can use them to attach to the NAS via PC without a problem. Has anyone else been able to connect to a Synology NAS successfully? I have seen a lot of people posting on the Synology forums that they've received a similar error and issue connecting but no resolution thus far. Thanks in advance for any advice. Andy
