Blackberry resets when using power on/off

I have the Blackberry Tour 9630 from Verizon. I was very excited to see that the Bold SlingPlayer Mobile software works on the 9630 (many have posted this). I downloaded SlingPlayer Mobile and it works fine on my Tour, with one significant exception. If my home DirecTv DVR is not powered on, and I try to use the SlingPlayer Mobile remote to power it on (or off), the Tour resets. In other words, I can only use SlingPlayer Mobile if my DVR is already on at home. All other functions on the Tour work fine - channel up/down, select, list, guide, etc. Can anyone solve this?

Some questions about the Blackberry SPM lisence

First I should say I'm a Storm user so I'm already in a bad place. My question is about the nature of the lisence that one can purchase for SPM BB. If I buy the SPM for the Pearl for use in compatibility mode with the Storm can I easily download a Storm version for free should Sling ever decide to get a f**king clue? Basically, am I buying a lisence for the Blackberry version of SPM or just for the Pearl version of SPM? The other question is where can I buy it? All I see are links to DL but nothing to buy. Thanks

Any idea when this might be supported? The Bold installed works for the most part, but there are some issues logging into my account and audio only mode.

Blackberry Bold + AT&T Uverse + Motorola STB -- How do you "press OK" on the remote?

I have a paid-up copy of Slingplayer Mobile for Blackberry. I'm able to use the Sllingbox just fine using slingplayer on a PC, but I can't use it via my Slingplayer Mobile for Blackberry if the AT&T Uverse settop box (made by Motorola) is in its screen saver mode . When the STB is in screensaver mode, it says on screen " Press OK to watch AT&T U-verse TV "in words that float around an otherwise blank screen. The STB won't do anything, or respond to any commands, until I press "OK." That's easy to do when using SlingPlayer on the PC, because it gives me a virtual remote control which looks and acts just like the one at home. However, the SlingPlayer Mobile for Blackberry gives me no way -- that I can find -- to "press ok." Consequently, I can't watch on SlingPlayer Mobile unless I can call someone at the house to go wake up the tv. Surely there's a way to do this, but I'll be darned if I can find it. I've looked through all help documents and forum posts pertaining to Uverse, but can't find anything.

Blackberry Tour + DirecTV receiver + Slingbox PRO HD

For the most part I have had no problems running Slingplayer on the Tour. I have followed the instructions to download the downlevel Slingplayer and it works great. I have a DirecTV receiver hooked up to the Slingbox via component cables, anc it works great. The only problem I have is when I power on or power off the receiver (via the Slingplayer on the Blackberry), it reboots my entire Blackberry. Anyone else have this problem???

Bold on AT&T - Can't control Slingbox

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 on AT&T. For the last few weeks, I have not been able to control by sling box via the BB. In other words, I can connect and view but I can't change channels or see the program guide, etc. It seemed to work fine when I was on my 30 day trial. I can't swear to it but I think it stopped working when I actually registered and purchased the slingplayer mobile. Has anybody else had this problem? I'd hate to think it was a simple setting or something I did???

What's the Best Sprint Phone for Slingplayer?

I recently switched from a HTC Touch Pro on Sprint to a HTC Hero running Android. I miss Sling Player (there is no Android client yet), and I am considering getting a backup phone that I can use to watch sling player on. As far as I know the following phones would be an option: -Blackberry Curve -HTC Mogul -Palm Centro -Treo 755p/700w Any thoughts on this? I am leaning towards the blackberry.

BB Curve 8330 Verizon and PRO-HD

Has anyone tried SPM with a verizon curve using a PRO-HD after the firmware update yesterday? I would try itmyself but my free trial has expired. I obviously dont want to purchase it before knowing if it works. I have read the successes on the storm 2 and the tour here and would love for the same success to carry over to the curve. Thanks!
