Slingbox/Sky BB Help Please!

Recently switched to Sky BB - using an airport extreme attached to the Sky BB modem as a bridge for all my bits and bobs. All works ok, except for the slingbox, which cannot connect. As the Extreme is acting as a bridge, there is no 'port forwarding' option (but this was on when previously set up using Pipex, with the extreme as a normal router). I have switched port forwarding on 5001 on, on the Sky router (Sagem) settings, but to no avail - I get a 'can't connect' error. Can anyone help please? Away on Saturday and need it for the next week or two. Many thanks. Stan

Feature idea: IR Pass-thru or iPhone remote app

It occurred to me that my MacBook Pro and most macs have an Infrared port. It would be very nice if the Mac Client could use the port to read inputs from my remote control and pass them through to the sling-box to control the device connected to my slingbox. That way I could use the remote control, instead of the keyboard/mouse. Or, how about a remote-app for my iPhone to control the sling client...kind of like the one for iTunes. Neither would need to be added to the sling client software directly; if an app was written to intercept the inputs (IR or iPhone) and map/pass them through to the client in some way...as rudimentary as passing keystrokes. I wonder if something like this already exists...will have to do a search.

Dual monitors - When I select Full screen horizontal resolution is too wide

AMD Athlon 9550 Quad core 4 GB Ram 500 GB hard drive When I select full screen mode, instead of the image being full screen on one monitor, it stretches all the way across both monitors. And the placement of the actual image is off. The vertical resolution is fine however. Here is a picture here What I was hoping was that when I selected full screen the slingplayer window would be fullscreen on one of the monitors. The reason I want it like that (To give you a better sense of why I am trying to do this) is because I have 2 monitors. I have one on my desk and the other I want to put on my wall and use as a TV. I thought I would be able to click the Full Screen button

Slingplayer 2.0 fullscreen problem with Hauppauge remote irremote.ini

I used to control SlingPlayer 1.5 using my Hauppauge IR remote, a.k.a. the Hauppauge silver remote. The IR Remote driver maps my remote keys into keyboard keys and I was able to channel channels, etc. Everything works great until I upgraded to SlingPlayer 2.0. The IRRemote program detects the application base on the name of the window. Under Windows Task Manager, it shows the name as "SlingPlayer - xxx's Slingbox". That's no big deal, I can just update the title. But when I expand the SlingPlayer to full screen, it breaks. Inside Task Manager, the SlingPlayer application disappears. IRRemote cannot detect it and translate keys any more. Anyone in a similar situation?

Has anyone encounter your slingplayer interrupted by someone else connecting into your account whilst you're on line? Message reads: You are unable to watch the slingbox. Someone else is currently connected:- Description: Accoount: Admin IP Address: xxx.x.xx.xxx To take over control of this slingbox and terminate the current users'connection, please enter the Administration Password for this slingbox then click OK. .... I manage to take over control over the slingbox by logging in my Admin password. Q 1) How did someone else gain control of my slingbox? Q 2) How can I prevent similar occurence? Q 3) Would the previous version prevent this from happening? Thanks

This is on a PC. The video feed is working because I can see it fine on my mac slingplayer remotely. For some reason the pc loses the video feed but still has perfect audio and is receiving a video signal because it is not giving me the "video signal not detected" alert... Hoe do I find it and lock it in?

When I look at the program guide all of my channels are not listed. If I go to Zap2It, those channels are listed there. Anyone know how to get the rest of the channels to display? This is for Dish Network in the Grand Rapids, MI DMA.
