French Freebox V5 and Slingbox Pro HD: Can't get the good connection

Hello, I have a Freebox HD and and a slingbox Pro HD. I made all the configuration and all seems to work properly. My problem is that on the Freebox the only way to have the sound out is digital, while the way to capture the image is analogic (I use the HDMI for my LCD screen) So either I have the sound (configuring it in digital) or I have the image (configuring it in analogic). My question is : Is there a way to configure the slingbox by mixing the sound in digital and the image in analogic? Is there something to do on the freebox? Is there a cable from which I can capture the image from the HDMI and send it to the digital entry of the slingbox (I am not a specialist so I did not know the format. Can you help?

Slingbox in UK - Freeview box and Solo?

Hi there. I want to get a Slingbox for Christmas which I will leave at the in-laws in the UK. They currently get Freeview through the normal aerial. If I buy a Freeview box (probably one with a hard drive) can I use it with the Slingbox Solo? Or would I be better getting a Pro (although this doesn't have a record facility, right?) thanks Alex

Zap to it Guide -- Time Zone differences

Zap 2 it is great, but I have the box on the west coast (USA) and watch from Asia regularly. Since we are 'ahead' in time, the Zap to it guide displays MY time, rather than west coast time, and there is no way to go 'back' in time, the 15 or so hours I need. Anyone know any practical work-around for this? Thanks

This is my last hope....after 3 weeks tring My slingbox pro HD located in Taipei Taiwan and hook up with ADSL 10M/2M My Sling Catcher located in Toronto Canada and hooked with cable 10M/1M The problem I have and can not overcome is- 1.When Streaming at home with slingplayer I got only up to 1800kbps at the most but buffering single dropped every 5-10 min of streaming...and will come back.(with no any other divice or pc running at the same time) However, when I watch on Slingcatcher on TV with cable hood up....i got maybe up to 1300kbps only...but buffering signle drop every 2 min and will not come back, I need to disconnect and reconnect to get streaming back.(again, no other pc or divice running at the same time). I did also try cable direct from cable moderm to sling catcher...still the same. I ran a speed test from toronto to taiwan during the high traffic hours around 8-10pm. I got downlord speed between 1-3 Mbps and uplord at 0.6 Mbps. Even when I try during off traffic hour at 2-3pm in the afternoon, I got 4-5 Mbps downlord and close to full uplord range. I still have buffering...

Can't download Slingplayer - changes country

I bought a Slingbox in the US and have it set up there. I live in the middle east. I'm trying to download Slingplayer on my new laptop in the middle east, but whenever I try to do so from the US sight, it switches me to the UK site. When I try it from there I get an error. I'm hoping that the problem is that the downloader is trying to hard to figure out where I am and that if I had a direct link to the download I could do it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am in China trying to use my slingbox pro. All was well up until a few weeks ago. It seems that when I have the large window when I go to use my tivo remote I lose the signal and cannot use the Tivo remote. If I am in a minimized small screen in the the left or right hand corner I can use the remote without losing the signal. I have looked at the forums and have not seen anything relating to this problem. Here are my details. My Slingbox pro is located in NY in the USA. It is connected to Cable and an older Tivo DVR. I access my slingbox using a mac laptop. When I open my slingbox to full screen the signal is fine. The remote icon remains at the bottom. When I hit the icon to open the remote things freeze and then everything disapears. I then get a message telling me that the slingbox is in use and I need to enter the admin password. No one else uses this Slingbox or Tivo DVR. It is set up only for me. There is another Tivo in the room but we have designated...
