I have already disabled the "X" button both within the "Task Manager" settings and the Slingplayer Mobile settings to make sure that it doesn't close SPM. I used to be able to open up calendar or any other program and still hear my SPM audio. Now it continues playing for the first few seconds while in calendar or another program, but then SPM just shuts down without warning. According to tech at Sling, this is due to the serial number not being in my phone. They went on further to say that even if I purchase the software, it will still not work. I have contacted AT&T and they had no idea about placing the serial number in the phone. I have tried to install Slingplayer by DL'ing directly to my phone and installing via ActiveSync, but neither will allow me to use the software. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or fixes for this, please let me know. I would love to try and test this on my phone first at work and so fiorth to see if it will work for me! The problem I am having is that I am unable to connect to the Slingbox Pro using Slingplayer Mobile on my BlackJack 1 from AT&T. When I attempt to connect to the Slingbox Pro, the phone display shows the normal "Locating", "Connecting...", "Starting...", but it times out with the error message that I am unable to continue streaming because of a weak connection. I tried playing around with the SP mobile settings, but every time the phone times out due to a weak connection. I can't even connect to the Pro if I set the SP mobile for audio only! The weird thing is I am able to connect to the Classic on my BlackJack with no problems. SP mobile connects very quickly and the framerate and bitrate are as expected. I prefer to watch the SD versions of channels that are available in HD, when I am using Slingplayer mobile (they format better to my screen). In my program guide, I have my DVR set to display both the HD and SD channels. Does anyone know if there is a way to program a shortcut directly to those SD channels? Both the HD and SD channel have the same number in the guide, and if I type in the channel number it goes to the HD version. I have to manually go down to the SD variant, but I'd rather make a shortcut button to go straight to the SD channel. Thanks.
