I have wm6 and it won't install sp1.6. Has anyone been able to install the software successfully on the tmwing? I have tried installing to the device and my storage card. The cab files will download but they won't run. I was able to run just fine on the tmobile dash using the same hardware. I can connect on my home network with no problem. Everything looks great. Currently I am seeing 29fps and 518kbps. However, when I try to connect from an internet connection outside my home I cannot connect. I get the message that the slingbox cannot be located. I have set up my slinbox for remote viewing and if I connect by my laptop outside my home, I can connect. Any ideas? The Pro is hardwired to my AT&T DSL modem/router and the Classic is connected to a wireless ethernet bridge in a different room. I have no difficulty connecting to either Slingbox locally or remotely using PC Slingplayer. The problem I am having is that I am unable to connect to the Slingbox Pro using Slingplayer Mobile on my BlackJack 1 from AT&T. When I attempt to connect to the Slingbox Pro, the phone display shows the normal "Locating", "Connecting...", "Starting...", but it times out with the error message that I am unable to continue streaming because of a weak connection. I tried playing around with the SP mobile settings, but every time the phone times out due to a weak connection. I can't even connect to the Pro if I set the SP mobile for audio only! The weird thing is I am able to connect to the Classic on my BlackJack with no problems. SP mobile connects very quickly and the framerate and bitrate are as expected. I have had no issues watching the Pro on my BJ in the past, but this problem just... My cell phone is an HTC Touch through Sprint. The Sling works fine on it, but I am unable to set it up where I can get the audio thru the Plantronics bluetooth so that I don't have to use headphones and/or let the world hear what I'm listening to. I prefer to watch the SD versions of channels that are available in HD, when I am using Slingplayer mobile (they format better to my screen). In my program guide, I have my DVR set to display both the HD and SD channels. Does anyone know if there is a way to program a shortcut directly to those SD channels? Both the HD and SD channel have the same number in the guide, and if I type in the channel number it goes to the HD version. I have to manually go down to the SD variant, but I'd rather make a shortcut button to go straight to the SD channel. Thanks. Here's the problem: My mobile phone is a Sprint HTC Mogul and I just updated to the newest ROM version 3.56 (which includes the Windows Mobile 6.1 upgrade), but I can now only connect to my Slingbox Solo via my cell phone by using the WiFi button on my phone. I can no longer connect via the Sprint PCS phone service. Prior to upgrading to the new Mogul ROM...this problem did not occur. Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening or have a similiar issue as mine? Also, even when I connect via WiFi it still gives me trouble to connect to my Solo. The device is apparantly not supported yet on the Pocket PC software for Slingmedia. The version I am using is 1.6.0.100. It is the most current version on the website. Just after I get the "Connected" dialog, the screen goes black, there is a burst of noise, and the application just shuts down. I have heard of a workaround where the Slipstream Optimizer can be disabled, and resolution set manually to 160X120. I have tried that, but it does not seem to work - the app still shuts down for me on connection. I have also diabled automatic reconnect. Does anyone else have any ideas at a temporary solution until this device is supported? Thanks in advance!
