I can connect using my 3G, which is great, but I can't connect using my home network. It works fine connecting with my computer, but not my phone. I have a 2Wire 2701HG-B gateway router, and tried the setup assistant in Slingplayer several times, but when I try to play using my wifi connection it says "Unable to connect to Slingbox; connection timed out. Please try again later." Can anyone help? I live in the middle east. I'm trying to download Slingplayer on my new laptop in the middle east, but whenever I try to do so from the US sight, it switches me to the UK site. When I try it from there I get an error. I'm hoping that the problem is that the downloader is trying to hard to figure out where I am and that if I had a direct link to the download I could do it. She previously had DirectTV, which you needed a receiver box for every room that there was a tv in. Now she has switched to Time Warner Cable and I believe that now there is only one box (the main dvr) and all the other rooms are hooked up directly to the tv without any kind of a box. I cannot hook up the slingbox to the main dvr because she always is watching/using it. Is there any way I can still use the slingbox anymore without hooking it up to the main tv with the dvr? What's interesting is that it typically occurs during sporting events, and always during a replay. The picture freeze is "presignalled" by an audible "beep". If I rewind the DVR, the freeze will occur at the exact same time. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes? All was well up until a few weeks ago. It seems that when I have the large window when I go to use my tivo remote I lose the signal and cannot use the Tivo remote. If I am in a minimized small screen in the the left or right hand corner I can use the remote without losing the signal. I have looked at the forums and have not seen anything relating to this problem. Here are my details. My Slingbox pro is located in NY in the USA. It is connected to Cable and an older Tivo DVR. I access my slingbox using a mac laptop. When I open my slingbox to full screen the signal is fine. The remote icon remains at the bottom. When I hit the icon to open the remote things freeze and then everything disapears. I then get a message telling me that the slingbox is in use and I need to enter the admin password. No one else uses this Slingbox or Tivo DVR. It is set up only for me. There is another Tivo in the room but we have designated... I got it set up and working and moved my slingbox AV over to it. I can watch via dish.sling.com as well as in the iPhone app. However, the integration between the DVR list in the iPhone Slingplayer and the slingbox is gone. Specifically, the "Watch on iPhone" button that used to be there when selecting a DVR event or from the guide is gone. I deleted the iPhone SP mobile app and reinstalled but that didn't help. Weird that I can watch on the iPhone if I go directly to the slingbox but I can't play anything directly from the SP mobile DVR list or guide. Any ideas how I can get the "watch on iPhone" button back?
