VPN Issue

I am trying to access my SLingbox Pro through a VPN, and it is saying that it is unable to communicate (error 0x9234006E).

Now, I can access it just fine from my LAN, and have no other issues accessing any other applications over my VPN (LCS, E-mail, Web, ect.).  And the connection never drops.  But when ever I try to access it via VPN, it does not work.  I can use my VPN on Cellular or Wi-Fi and no issues except the slingbox.

 Does anyone have any ideas?  I was thinking it was a gateway problem, so I set the slingbox to my VPN Server, but that didn't help.  I did not set up port forwarding, because I don't want it accessible outside my VPN.  This works fine with other streaming applications I have used (Vbrick, IP/TV, Amino's, VLC, ect.).

It probably is because of the two separate IP networks that your computer belongs to when you use a VPN. The slingbox application is probably trying to find the box via you physical Internet connection instead of your VPN. My solution would be to do the port forwarding on your router. The stream is encrypted already. So there isnt too much to worry about.
